This session was so much fun, and a special one for my business. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I’ve started a new and exciting journey in the last few months: family filmmaking. This was something I had in mind for a long time but I always found reasons (yes you can read excuses here!) for not doing it… until this summer when I took the jump! I’m studying this art with amazing family filmmakers online (and in person next year - can’t wait!) , and I’ll admit it has been a long time since I felt that in love with a new project. So why am I telling you that? Well, because this session was my first film + photos session! Yay! Why should you care you ask? You should as this is a service I will be offering next year, and let me tell you, having a family film of your own family will be one of the most precious thing you’ll ever have!

This film and photos session documents so much about their life today: not only how small their baby boy is, or the cute facial expressions he has, but also the daily family life tasks that are changing and feeding him… and even more, it’s also documenting the apartment where they brought their son for their first night home as a family of three.

As always, I’ll share with you some of my favourite photographs from this newborn session and for the first time on this blog, the family film I created.
